Good Boy Does Good Dog Thing

Sometimes it’s so discouraging to see some behaviors that are so difficult to improve via training. Dog-on-dog aggression is one that’s surprisingly tricky to change for the better. I certainly know how to make a dog MORE aggressive toward other dogs—anyone ever take a puppy into a dog park and let it get jumped?—but improving that disfunction can be a slow and difficult process.

On the other hand, sometimes you see the opposite: an heartwarming Lassie-esque story of a dog doing something incredible that he was never trained to do. This Florida mutt led emergency responders to his elderly caretaker who had fallen and couldn’t get home. Good boy, Eeyore.

@wbrcnews After a husband called police to say his wife never returned home from a walk, this dog led a deputy to her rescue. Good boy!! #Dog #Hero #GoodBoy #Florida #News #OkaloosaCounty #WBRC ♬ original sound – WBRC 6 News
